Hackney Carriages

Hackney Carriages can only charge up to the metered rate set by the Council for journeys within the City Boundary. The Tariffs will be displayed in each vehicle and a taximeter will calculate the fare. Hackney Carriages can be flagged down for a booking or they are ranked up at areas around the city.

  • Unless you have the driver or vehicle details, finding lost property in a Southampton Taxi, is difficult. We recommend you prebook. You'll know who your driver is.

  • Hackney Carriage vehicles will charge an extra fee, called Boundary Fee, when you leave the city of Southampton. An extra 25%! Aryvo does not this when you book with us Book Online

  • If you take a taxi ensure the driver is wearing their drivers badge and that they are the driver meant to be driving. Ensure it's a licensed taxi, typically the vehicle will have a plate on the rear. Always ask for their badge number, you'll be able to identify the driver from this.

Aryvo Taxis

When you book a taxi with Aryvo, be confident that you’re receiving a local and licensed vehicle. We’ll send you their Name and vehicle information, and you’ll be able to call or SMS them, whilst we keep your number private so it’s never shared directly with the driver.

  • If you've lost an item, contact us at support@aryvo.com and we'll contact your driver for you to return the item.

  • We don't charge any extra, no boundary or surge pricing. Your fares are fixed and there's never any hidden fees. Book Online
